Privacy Policy
Last updated October 17, 2026
MJ Sono LLC, doing business as Sono Flower Wall ("we," "us" or "our"), is a small, family-run business in Worcester, Massachusetts. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit sonoflowerwall.com (the "Site"), request or book a flower wall or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
The short version: we collect only what we need to plan, deliver and get paid for your rental, and to understand how people use our Site. We don't sell your information, we don't use advertising trackers, and we don't send marketing emails unless you ask for them.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us when you request a flower wall:
- Your full name, email address and phone number.
- Your event's street address, city, state and zip code.
- The flower wall and any neon sign you choose, and your setup and take-down dates and times.
Information you give us after you pay:
- Answers to our event questions: the occasion, whether your event is indoors or outdoors, whether you're working with an event planner (and their name and email), how you heard about us, and anything else you tell us about your event.
- Your electronic signature on our rental agreement: your typed full name and initials, plus a record of when you signed, your IP address and the agreement version.
- Anything you choose to tell us in emails or messages, such as details about your venue.
If you give us someone else's details, such as your event planner's, please make sure they're happy for you to share them. We'll use them only to coordinate your event.
Payment information: payments are handled by our payment processor on its own secure payment page. We never see or store your full card number. We receive a record of the payment, such as your name, email, the amount, the date and the last four digits of your card.
Information collected automatically:
- How you use the Site. We use a website analytics service to understand how visitors use the Site: the pages you view, the links and buttons you click, the photos you look at, what you search for, the zip codes you check for delivery, and which flower wall you request (but not your name, email, phone number or address). It also records general information about your visit, such as your approximate location (city or region, based on your IP address), your device, browser and operating system, and the website or link that brought you here. The analytics service uses cookies to tell visits apart.
- Security and spam protection. Like all websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit, to keep the Site running and secure.
- Your request in progress. While you fill in the form to request a flower wall, your choices and the details you type are saved in your own browser for that tab only, so they're there if you go back to edit. They're cleared when you close the tab. This isn't sent to us until you click Request Flower Wall.
Photos: we may take photos of our flower wall at your event. See section 5.
We don't knowingly collect sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers or bank account numbers, and we'll never ask you for them.
2. How we use your information
- To send you your payment link, confirm your booking once you've paid, and send you your rental agreement to sign.
- To plan, deliver, set up, take down and pick up your rental, including contacting you or your event planner about it.
- To send you messages about your request or booking, such as confirmations, reminders, changes and receipts.
- To process payments, refunds and, if needed, charges for damage or loss under our Terms of Service.
- To answer your questions and give you customer service.
- To understand how people find and use our Site, including what they search for, so we can improve it and add the flower walls people are looking for.
- To keep our Site and business secure and prevent spam, fraud and misuse.
- To keep business, accounting and tax records, and to meet our legal obligations.
Marketing: we don't send marketing emails unless you sign up for them. If we ever offer a newsletter or promotions, they'll be opt-in only, and every email will have an unsubscribe link.
3. Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers that help us run the business, only as needed for them to do their job for us: website hosting and security, email, payment processing and website analytics. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
- Your event planner or venue, if you've told us about them, to coordinate delivery and setup.
- Professional advisers, such as our accountant, lawyer or insurer, when needed, under a duty of confidentiality.
- When the law requires it, for example in response to a valid court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our business, our customers or others.
- If our business changes hands, for example if it's sold or merged, your information may transfer to the new owner, who must follow this Privacy Policy.
4. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies only for website analytics (see section 1), to understand how people use our Site. We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't use analytics to show you ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Site works without them. Our payment processor's page, which is separate from our Site, may use its own cookies to process your payment securely and prevent fraud.
5. Photos of your event
- Photos of the flower wall: we may photograph our flower wall at your event, without people in the photo, and use the photos on our website and social media. If you'd prefer we don't take or share any photos of your event, just tell us before your event. You can also ask us to remove a photo we've posted at any time.
- Photos with people: we will never use a photo showing you or your guests in our marketing without written permission from the people in it.
- We don't publish your name or your event's address alongside photos without your permission.
6. How long we keep it
- Requests that aren't paid: we keep them in case we need to send you a new payment link, but you can ask us to delete yours anytime.
- Bookings and payment records are kept for as long as we need them for business, accounting and tax purposes, generally up to 7 years, and then deleted.
- Emails are kept as long as they're useful for your request, your booking or our records.
- Photos of the flower wall may be kept and used for as long as they're in our portfolio, unless you ask us to remove them.
7. How we protect it
- Our Site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS) for everything you send us.
- Access to request and booking information is limited to the owners of the business, using secure, password-protected accounts.
- We don't store card numbers. Payments happen on our payment processor's secure page.
- We choose service providers that take security seriously, and we collect only the information we need.
No system is perfectly secure. If a security breach ever affects your personal information, we'll notify you and the authorities as required by law, including Massachusetts law.
8. Your choices and rights
- See, correct or delete your information. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first. We may keep some records where the law requires it, for example for tax purposes, or to complete a booking you've paid for.
- Photos. Ask us not to photograph your event, or to remove a photo we've posted.
- Marketing. If you ever sign up for marketing emails, unsubscribe at any time with the link in any email.
We'll honor these requests no matter which state you live in, and we won't treat you differently for making one.
9. Children
Our Site and services are meant for adults. You must be 18 or older to request or book a flower wall. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our business or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change, we'll make it clear on this page.
